The Story behind...

It all started back in 2010 during my stay and work-life in Sydney, Australia. Like every other professional outside his country, my life was no different. A decent job and a satisfying bank balance that had loneliness as its trade-off - was my story. A wise man once said that being a loner sucks but its way better to be lonely on the streets wearing a Marc Jacobs suit and Gucci shoes.  So that was it, those hard-earned dollars saw some major investments, from fine dressing to fine dining to few social events. These investments did give me some major real-life changing returns, later. But until then, dressing-up sharp, using the knives appropriately at the table  and respecting the people on every possible social back-drop had become a habit.

With time, I realised that something had changed. There were a lot of smiles, "thank you" and "please" around, laughing with the crowd was a part of my walk and getting a stare from the lovely ladies was day-maker. It was a change, where I was “recognized”, “respected” and “accepted” by people around me with a different zest. The acceptance was not because I turned myself into one of them, but because I chose to put an extra effort on my social outlook rather than just my work.

Hence, on my return to India in late 2011, I decided to decode what had exactly happened to me back there in Sydney. I decided to dress-up and behave the same way, here in India and this was strange. The response did not differ an inch. So what I concluded was that everyone loves to be around well-dressed and well-behaved man, whatever place he is at. It is like a hypnotizing mechanism, it makes the people around you believe you, respect you and accept you.
